Updates & Answered Questions.

Books written by Wurtzel (for Christine. =)),

Prozac Nation: Young and Depressed in America: A Memoir
Bitch: In Praise of Difficult Women
The Secret Life: Common Sense Advice for Uncommon Women
More, Now, Again: A Memoir of Addiction

She's also a journalist and has had articles in The Harvard Crimson and the Dallas Morning News, as well as The New Yorker.

So I'm about (only) 50 pages into Prozac and it's quite interesting so far. Elizabeth uses very effective rhetorical strategy and modes in her memoir. I've got 2 of my annotated bibliographies and I am not yet completely stressed out...I've developed this new thing called no procrastination? Hopefully it lasts longer than I expect.

and I leave you with a quote:
"That term is loaded with irony to me now because I know how false that appearance of promise is." --Wurtzel, on the term "Full of promise"

  1. I heard of that book, Prozac Nation, because of Ashley, Heba, and Kellie who read that book and did a video on it for thier project presentaion for Mr. Walsh's class. Sam you should watch it on facebook. It's one of Ashey's vidoes. It's pretty good actually.

  2. I love the quotes. Let's now pray that this no procrastination thing lasts. I would rather not check blog entries at 2:00am. Just kidding.
